CBS2 News has done numerous reports about supply shortages at local hospitals amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes shortages of latex gloves, isolation gowns, surgical masks, N95 masks and face shields.
Medical facilities like Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey have asked the local community for help and many have stepped up, including Lynch Law Firm, PC. We donated hundreds of N95 masks bought from Invictus Pharmacy.
“It looks to me that if everybody kicks in a little bit, everyone becomes a little optimistic. [If] everyone does what they can on their end to help, then I think things are going to get better quickly and we’re all going to get through this together,“ says partner James Lynch.
While Valley Hospital and other hospitals around the nation will continue to need supplies, this serves as a reminder of how local communities can help make a difference in fighting COVID-19.
