In this case, Jim’s client suffered herniated discs resulting in surgery from an accident. Based on prior medical records, the defense argued that some or all of the injuries were pre-existing. Additionally, the defense argued that Jim’s client, who spoke through a Korean translator, was exaggerating his complaints. To prove the injuries and that Jim’s client was being truthful and the defense was a sham, Jim called to the witness stand every treating doctor, both before and after the injury (14 experts).

The jury agreed with Jim and his client and awarded $971,000.00.
